The world we live in is very fast paced and cutting technology and hi tech gadgets are things we all enjoy. We all look forward to the latest electronics and other hi tech toys that come out such as the Wii, Blackberry or iPhone. Besides the new computers, cell phones, and other usual electronics there are also golf gadgets, cookware and all sorts of hi tech gadgetry for just about every interest imaginable.

The year 2009 has seen lots of surprises, advances in technology, and some alternatives and price breaks on some high demand hi tech gadgets. There are new gadgets being invented all the time which draw on what has been hot now and in the past. There are also new contenders in the hi tech market to challenge the more established companies like Apple.

This January in Vegas during the Consumer Electronics Show, there were many new hi tech gadgets introduced for 2009. This show displayed a wide variety of hi tech gadgets in a broad range from wacky, fun, frivolous to utilitarian. Just about anyone would have been able to find gadgets that excited and intrigued them.

One very unusual new gadget on display was the 3-D web cam from Promotion and Display Technology Limited. The hi tech web cam comes with two lenses, making it resemble some sort of space alien. The web cam is mounted to your computer monitor and sends 3-D moving images.

The new ThinkPad W700ds notebook PC from Lenovo looks intriguing. It comes with two screens and you can adjust the second screen similar to how you would adjust a rear view mirror on a car. This gives you some extra space when you are working on certain applications or with photos that could overwhelm the main screen on a notebook.

Another new Lenovo high tech gadget is their all-in-one, integrate desktop computer that has a remote control for playing games. The remote functions much like Nintendo Wii controllers. Gamers can use the remote to simulate a moving object like swinging a virtual tennis racket.

A Taipei-based company called MSI unveiled their X320 X-Slim Series, which is a notebook that is super slim measuring only .77 inches in thickness. This is very similar to the very slim Apple MacBook Air. The only thing is the MSI notebook will only cost $700-$1000, and the MacBook Air is $1,799 plus.

That wraps our observations of some of this year’s most intriguing hi tech gadgets at the Vegas Consumer Electronics show. The hi technology world has lots of new exciting developments. Less expensive alternatives and new products have made 2009 a very exciting year for hi tech gadgets.
